WTW Health, Equity & Well Being Associate Director - RN in Charlotte, North Carolina

As a Health, Equity and Wellbeing Consultant, you will consult on a wide variety of complex health management and broader health and benefits projects. You will serve as the day to day communication liaison with our clients and their program vendors, create client deliverables, contribute to client management and new business activities, and participate in the creation of new intellectual capital.

A portion of your time will be dedicated to support the Custom Care Management Unit (CCMU) team through oversight of the carrier partners for the CCMU product. CCMU is a high touch, custom care management program designed and monitored by WTW clinical specialists and project managers which is administered by CCMU’s medical carrier partners to drive improved patient outcomes and reduced costs. You will serve as a RN lead to provide clinical expertise and leadership to our WTW CCMU client service teams and CCMU carrier partners, support CCMU sales and marketing efforts, support ongoing WTW oversight and clinical process review activities.

The Role

Clients

  • Deliver superior, consistent client management and project management in support of health management and CCMU projects

  • Draft statements of work, project plans and budgets involving multiple workflow streams and client teams

  • Serve as the day to day project leader, ensuring the progress of the team against established objectives, budget, timeline, deliverables and quality standards

  • Serve as primary, daily contact to clients and program vendors on delivery of services

  • Manage and document day-to-day open tasks within multiple workstreams, including but not limited to carrier management, client-specific tasks, and internal operational excellence processes

  • Collaborate with broader client team to ensure that health management projects are aligned with the client’s broader benefits and total rewards strategyInterface with colleagues from other practices and regions on assignments that reflect the client’s broader business issues

  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with client contacts through effective communication and efficient, quality execution of projects

  • Work with client teams to evaluate a client’s fit for CCMU and support value proposition and sales presentation development for prospective CCMU clients

  • Establish CCMU subject matter expert role with internal client teams through effective communication and knowledge sharing and develop rapport with CCMU external carrier partners in support of CCMU partnership product

  • Create presentations and other work products for internal training and/or client discussions on CCMU

  • Support development of and analysis of CCMU performance reports and develop meaningful data-driven insights

Excellence

  • Provide valued-added consulting expertise on health, equity and wellbeing projects

  • Conducting clinical assessments of health management programs (case management, disease management and wellness) and of CCMU carriers

  • Promoting WTW’s health, equity and wellbeing solutions and strategies

  • Developing integrated wellbeing strategies and incentive programs

  • Managing vendor selection, procurement and optimization

  • Develop measurement strategy and evaluate ROI/VOI for health, equity and wellbeing programs

  • Support the creation/design of customized clinical and/or health advocacy programs for employers delivered through health plans or other vendors

  • Support design and implementation of onsite health optimization projects (e.g. onsite clinics)

  • Contribute health, equity and wellbeing and related perspectives to broader health and group benefits projects such as benchmarking, funding and re-design of plans

  • Contribute to the development of WTW intellectual capital, tools, and approaches

Financial

  • Meet revenue and billable hour goals established with your manager

  • Support the generation of new business by enhancing relationships with current clients and recommending new projects and solutions

  • Participate in prospecting opportunities with new clients as part of a broader team

People

  • Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams

  • Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels

  • Educate other WTW consultants and associates on health, equity and wellbeing related intellectual capital and market trends including CCMU

  • Serve as mentor to more junior level staff

The Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience, including demonstrated career progression and 3+ years of management experience

  • Demonstrated success in delivering health management or related health and group benefits consulting services to premiere clients, preferably gained in a health care consulting environment, health insurance carrier, managed care organization or another leading health care provider

  • Knowledge of the fundamentals of population health and delivery of health care in the US

  • Proven experience successfully managing multiple projects and producing quality deliverables on time and within budget

  • Strong interpersonal and team skills

  • Strongly demonstrated written/verbal communication, collaboration and partnership experience

  • Strongly demonstrated strategic, problem-solving and analytic skills

  • Business acumen to identify opportunities for additional health management or other human capital consulting work in support of our clients’ strategies

  • The ability to see the "big picture," leveraging the resources of related practices to address the clients' business challenges

  • Strong intellectual curiosity and desire to keep abreast of latest developments in health management and Health and Benefits strategy, and contributing to the development of new tools and approaches

  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)

  • BA/BS degree required

  • RN designation required

  • Flexibility with respect to travel that can range from 30 to 50%

Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).

The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $140,000 – $170,000 USD. This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
