WTW Business Analyst 2 in Chicago, Illinois

The Role

  • Understands different system functionalities and dependencies

  • Learns and applies WTW best practices, standards, and tools

  • Performs system configuration based on the requirements

  • Executes test plans for system functionalities using WTW standard tools

  • Creates test plans based on requirements and standards by partnering with senior business analysts

  • Partners with team to perform root cause analysis for issues/cases

  • Writes queries using SQL and analyze results to reduce rework

  • Follows the System Development Lifecycle.

The Requirements

  • 1-2 years experience as a Business Analyst preferred

  • Preferred understanding of the fundamentals of health and welfare and broader benefit plan design

  • SQL skills preferred

  • Experience with the test plan creation, testing procedures, and test plan execution

  • Analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills

  • Organizational and time management skills

  • Demonstrates flexibility, accountability, and ability to deliver multiple projects with quality and excellence

  • Ability to work extended hours as needed

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role.

Compensation

The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $72,000-85,000 USD.
