The role

The Client Relationship Manager is responsible

for building and fostering relationships with certain qualified Carriers that

write the FINEX and Terrorism lines of business in Great Britain. As a part of the FINMAR Market Services team,

the Client Relationship Manager provides data analytics, carrier advocacy,

pipeline management and reporting services to the Carriers, with the aim of

helping them to improve their proposition, competitive edge and visibility.

This is highly aligned with Group objectives as it involvesrevenue

growth, market rationalisation, automated market selection (market match) and

improved knowledge to support better client prospecting and service.

Performance Objectives:

  • Buildingrelationships with clients (being Carriers of FINEX and Terrorism insurance)and working closely with them to monitor and measure performance against agreedservice levels for quoting, placement, policy production and claimsservice. It will also be necessary toregularly attend meetings with clients, for who detailed reports and analysisis provided on periodic basis.

  • Gainan in-depth understanding of FINEX and Terrorism products and relatedinsurance, working closely with the FINEX and Terrorism placing/claims teams tofully understand the clients business, requirements and the services we provideand improve the proposition for the benefit of the FINEX and Terrorism team’sclients (Insurers).

  • Analyse,interpret and present detailed analytical client reports.

  • Buildrelationships with FINEX and Terrorism team colleagues in order to understandchanges in strategy, challenges and provide advice on changes to clientappetite as and when required.

  • Buildand develop relationships with FINMAR colleagues in Mumbai and Ipswich tomonitor finances, manage budget and develop analytical data.

  • Workclosely with members of the FMS team worldwide to ensure integrity, accuracyand completeness of data and ensure a consistent global delivery of services.

The requirements

  • Working industry experience in a clientfacing role (preferable)

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent

  • Knowledge of financial lines and/or terrorism clients,markets and products

  • Highly articulate and able tocommunicate and influence with confidence and credibility at all levels,delivery to suit audience and adjust behaviour to suit the politicalenvironment

  • Client relationship focused with provenexcellence in service delivery

  • Demonstrable language skills

  • Ability to analyse, present and interpretdetailed analytical data/client reports

  • Deep understanding of Insurance principals,broking and underwriting

  • Ability to drive conflict resolution without compromisingclient relationship

  • Problem solving skills, innovative andcreative with technical aptitude

  • Ability to work autonomously orwithin a team, while working to tight deadlines

  • Knowledge and understanding of industryspecific market analysis systems andtechnologies

  • Appreciation and understandingof multinational team structures and cultural nuances

  • Must demonstrate attention todetail, with a high level focus on quality

  • Excellent verbal and written communicationskills, confident facilitator

  • Flexible approach to undertake additionalresponsibilities within FMS as and when required

  • Experience of dealing with overseas clients
