The Role

This role will involve producing, maintaining, analysing and communicating financial data such as revenue reports, forecasts and budgets.

The role holder will play a pivotal role in maintaining quality of internal revenue analysis both on retrospective and forward looking basis for respective area through application of analytical approach, attention to detail and ability to work to strict deadlines. It will require frequent interactions with wider business and stakeholders at every level. The role will involve producing insightful MI, addressing ad hoc queries, ensuring that revenue is appropriately coded. Collaboration with various teams aimed at further enhancing revenue tools.

Major Accountabilities;

  • Be the financial leader within Property & Construction Business, the largest business unit within GB CRB with revenues of $300m per year

  • Represent Finance and its priorities with Line of business CEO, COO, HRD and heads of LOB and help develop strategy for the business

  • Work with Business leads to incorporate GB, Global Line of business and CRB priorities

  • Manage P&L levers on revenue & expenses across P&C businesses to deliver financial objectives

  • Supporting non-financial colleagues in delivery of budgets, forecasts and analytics depending on business needs

  • Provide Financial insight to Business leader (including Revenue, Sales, S&B, T&E and central costs) and manage P&C input into central Finance initiatives including, RAFT, Expense management, DSO/debtor Days and GB governance

  • Lead and improve Budgeting & Forecasting processes within the business unit, to achieve a realistic and deliverable target with supporting granular data

  • Improve forward outlook and grip on revenue and expenses, connecting sales activity (renewals & pipeline) reporting with financial revenue forecasts

  • Enhance portfolio management by providing financial input into areas of potential investment/divestment to improve Profit Margins

  • Confidently work and support requirements across various teams across the business

  • Lead Financial elements of remuneration, bonus and incentive deals negotiation for the business

  • Provide ad hoc analysis to assist management in making well informed business decisions.

The Requirements

  • Must be able to represent Financial interest of the business to senior management across the organisation (both Financial and non-Financial).

  • Excellent financial analysis and analytical skill set with a commercial bias. Very well organised and meticulous planning skills. Excellent written and verbal presentation skills are essential

  • Must be able to demonstrate ability to challenge through critical thinking and articulate presentation

  • Prior experience of managing P&L including experience with delegated authority

  • Experience of Matrix management environment

  • Qualified Accountant

  • Advanced Excel

  • Team player with prior experience with managing senior stakeholders.
