WTW GB Regional Manager in Ipswich, United Kingdom

WTW has developed market leading Technology for its clients.

Geography subject matter experts are required within the geography sales / operational team to work closely with clients, client service teams and the business. They bring expertise in areas of client servicing including RFP development, supporting the management of existing clients and acting as an ambassador for these capabilities.

The role also supports the regional business through consultation in respect to digital solutions for clients. The digital solutions will include both standard and custom service offerings that will ensure our clients’ needs are met. The role is accountable for improving adoption, continuous feedback and regional client/service team account management (to identify challenges and solutions to increase adoption).

Reporting to the GB Sales Leader with a dotted line to the RIC Programme Director, working closely with the Client Facing teams as a subject matter expert, this role is a key part to the digital transformation of a global financial services organization. The team will benefit from your perspective and experience, and you will gain exposure to new platforms and technologies.

This role is the first point of contact within sales/operations to provide support in the consultation process with our clients on RIC and our Core Models (on Risk IQ), usage, access and understanding of the platform and ensuring the benefits are realised within GB.

Working with Sales and Client Management teams on bids and responding to RFPs; this will vary based on seasonal demands.

Leading and driving business use of the Risk Intelligence Central (RIC) and Core models (available on Risk IQ).

Maintaining an understanding of the Corporate Risk and Broking stack and end to end connectivity. More specifically maintain detailed knowledge on RIC and Core Models from the delivery team resulting in expertise in the applications functionality, the rationale for decisions that were made and an awareness of how the platform will be supported from a technology basis.

Client Responsibilities

  • Providing effective support to Client Teams to win new business and to realise the proposed benefits to the client and WTW.

  • Preparing/responding to RFP’s, presenting to clients/prospects together with account team. Responding to questions from the clients and WTW on the use of the platform.

  • Support client presentations and proposals; providing thought leadership on business related use/application of the tools.

  • Maintain knowledge of market trends and changes.

  • Responsible for working in collaboration with other RIC and Core Analytical Colleagues globally to share best practice and identify how the tool can be improved based on business needs.

  • As required, lead on the execution of client contracting for Risk IQ

Innovation and continuous improvements

  • Build strong relationships clients and colleagues to maintain awareness of changing needs and demand.

  • Develop local knowledge of business process forums to influence changes to any processes.

  • Attend Working Groups and Steering Committees to influence which enhancements are prioritized. As SME, play an active role in the development of the products, to ensure they are fit for purpose and meetings the client’s need. Where challenges exist this role will seek to identify innovative solutions that will meet the organisation’s objectives.

Communications & Training

  • Responsible for managing and leading the regional communications in collaboration with any other communications leads that may exist.

  • As required, cascade communications and respond to queries with validated information. Consider local nuances and be responsible for adjusting the message accordingly. Suggest how communications is improved so colleagues fully understand key messages.

  • Identify local communications channels to be used to support awareness and adoption (Town Hall, monthly meetings, local newsletters etc.).

  • Responsible for overseeing training to all users in collaboration with the appropriate regional leads.

Marketing

  • Use their involvement with the client and client facing teams to influence the marketing approach that is led by the marketing subject matter experts. Ensure the marketing approach and campaigns focuses on the key aspects of greatest value to the clients.

  • Exploit local knowledge available in each geography to focus on the unique selling factor that differentiates WTW from their regional competitors.

Colleague and Client Adoption

  • Ensure there is clear plans to improve RIC adoption and work closely with country Client Facing teams.

  • Use tailored MI to a) monitor progress and b) identify opportunities and weakness.

The Requirements:

  • Experience in direct client account interaction and management within the Insurance sector.

  • Strong presentation skills.

  • Transition management experience within the insurance industry & exposure multi-national clients.

  • Understand analytical processes and financial indicators and parameters.

  • Ability to makes decisions in a timely manner, sometimes with incomplete information and under tight deadlines and pressure; able to make a quick decision. But always in collaboration with the Client Services Teams.

  • Skilled in assigning responsibility for tasks and decisions; setting clear objectives and measures; monitors process, progress, and results; designs feedback loops into work. Maintains two-way dialogue with others on work and results; brings out the best in people; is a clear communicator.

  • Working without close supervision, defining direction and complying with Group strategy & objectives.

  • Ability to facilitate interactive workshops with clients and business colleagues.

  • Knowledge of how current and evolving Technology differentiates our client value proposition, whilst maintaining an understanding of the end-to-end digital ecosystem with WTW's Corporate Risk and Broking segment.
