Summary of Role
Reporting and Data (RDT) is a team within the Investments line of business dedicated to internal and external reporting, post-trade compliance, and data management.
This role is to establish and manage a new group within the RDT, focused on producing high quality deliverables for internal stakeholders, and for the purposes of marketing and new business. Initial focus will be on transitioning work from elsewhere within the team and business, and establishing clear and sound processes.
You will quickly build a sound understanding of our business structure and the information within it, while working with a diverse mix of investment professionals of different backgrounds and experience levels.
Liaise with colleagues in the RDT and wider business to transition work and establish new reporting function
Establish clear processes, guidelines and governance structures
Enhance processes and bring greater consistency to tasks
Quickly develop competence with internal systems and processes
Source and maintain data from internal and external sources, liaising with data managers as required
Use appropriate tools to produce and review regular and ad hoc deliverables for both internal use and in the context of marketing or new business, demonstrating a keen eye for detail
Oversee a support mailbox with the aim of responding to internal queries and new business requirements according to an SLA and demanding timeframes
Offer technical expertise and collaboration within the team and across the Investments business
Learn WTW’s internal systems and processes to a high degree
Manage work groups or people within a physical or virtual team, providing MI to the management team
Take a central role in projects within the function, team or wider business
Support other work requirements, not limited to ad hoc administration
The successful candidate will be expected to work within the existing risk management and audit framework of the team and business, which includes checklists and review processes, branded ‘Professional Excellence’. All team members are encouraged to contribute ideas for process improvements.
The wide range of skills needed for this role mean that people from a number of educational backgrounds and different levels of experience could be successful in this position
Experience in the financial services industry is required; experience in investments or pensions is desirable
High levels of organization skills are essential for the successful candidate
Candidates should have a good proficiency in MS Office applications
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills with people of a range of seniorities and responsibilities, and professional maturity
