The role

Private Clients looks after the personal

insurance needs of both mid net-worth and high net worth individuals. These

include the decision makers of Willis Towers Watson (WTW) corporate clients,

numerous members of the Sunday Times ‘Rich List’ and a host of familiar public names.

With this in mind, our service is of the highest and most confidential nature.

As an Account Executive you will tasked to develop

opportunity pipelines and win new clients, as well work with a team of

colleagues to look after your own portfolio of existing clients. You will

develop relationships with both WTW associates and external introducers as part

of pipeline development. This will include finding new clients via networking

at events, via existing clients, as well as your own network/contacts.

The role also includes working closely with

our colleagues in Bloodstock and Super Yachts to identify high net worth clients and sell

our products to them.

This is a fascinating, challenging and varied

client facing role which requiring excellent inter-personal and negotiating

skills. You will build strong relationships

with your clients as you assist them in assessing their risk profile and

providing insurance solutions. Your role

will see you working closely with both the client servicing team, underwriters

and clients. You need to be confident in presentations, be able to think

“outside of the norm” and provide unique insurance solutions that will set you

apart from the competition.

This role will involve meeting clients at

their homes or place of business, so own transport and a valid driving licence

would be advisable.

New sales

  • Identifyclient needs, create bespoke solutions and negotiate favourable terms withinsurers

  • Obtainclient’s order and explore additional opportunities to help

  • Workalongside WTW corporate associates

  • Delivera high level of customer service

  • Maintainconfidentiality at all times

Pipeline Development

  • Developrelationships with WTW associates in order to increase current referral levels

  • Identifyand develop external introducer networks

Retention and Growth

  • Workingwith the Account Managers to ensure that:

  • Retentiontargets are met

  • Clients’cover and placements remain up to date with their needs

  • Clientsreceive a renewal review visit where appropriate

  • Cross-selland up-sell opportunities are fulfilled

  • Encouragenew business referrals and recommendations from your existing clients


  • Always operate within the businessprocedures, requirements and principles

  • Apply FSA operating principles andalways work in accordance with Treating Customers Fairly

The requirements

  • Strongpersonal management skills, with a proven track record of managing your ownworkloads and delivering excellent levels of client service

  • Strongcommunication, negotiation and influencing skills

  • Goodexperience and understanding of the High Net Worth personal insurance market

  • Creativethinking

  • Skillsin problem solving

  • Concernfor accuracy, quality and attention to detail
