WTW Marketing Manager in London, United Kingdom

The role of Marketing at WTW is two-fold to support the company's growth and revenue goals and protect and promote a consistent global brand. As trusted partners to the HWC segment, the marketing team functions as an integrated global team providing comprehensive support through well-planned and executed campaigns.

In this position, you will report to the Marketing Director for HWC Marketing and support the broader Health, Wealth & Career (HWC) segment marketing team with a focus project management and coordination of marketing tactics in support of a variety of marketing campaigns. To be effective, you will collaborate closely with marketing and business colleagues in an intellectually challenging, yet supportive environment.

Successful candidates must demonstrate business acumen, relevant experience with marketing tools and related content, and have excellent project management, communication and team skills.

The Role:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive integrated marketing plans and campaigns to promote investment products and services.

  • Collaborate with the investment management team to understand product features, target audience, and competitive landscape.

  • Manage marketing activities across multiple channels , including digital, social media, email, content marketing, events, and traditional media, to create a cohesive and impactful brand experience.

  • Create engaging content for marketing materials, including website content, research reports/market updates, brochures, podcasts, and social media posts.

  • Manage digital marketing initiatives , including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media advertising, to reach target audiences and drive conversions.

  • Utilize marketing automation and CRM systems to set up processes for key stakeholders to be able to track leads, manage pipelines, and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns in driving business results.

  • Plan and execute events, such as conferences, seminars, webinars, and networking events, to connect with prospects, nurture leads, and facilitate business development opportunities.

  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics , including lead generation, conversion rates, website traffic, and ROI, to optimize campaigns and maximize results.

  • Manage marketing budgets , timelines, and resources effectively to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and within budget.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers, to enhance brand visibility and reputation.

  • Provide regular updates and reports on campaign progress , performance, and ROI to senior marketing leadership management and key stakeholders.

  • Communicate effectively with marketing leadership team and marketing colleagues to set expectations, promote client-ready solutions, and coordinate/leverage activities.

  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging trends, and innovative marketing techniques in B2B marketing to continuously improve and evolve our marketing strategies.

The Requirements

A successful candidate will have the following qualities.

  • Relevant marketing experience is essential within the investment industry or professional/financial services, B2B environment

  • Outstanding written and verbal English language skills

  • Proven tactical experience in marketing campaigns and communications across a broad spectrum of offline and online media

  • Strong project management and prioritisation skills with a proven ability to lead a high volume of marketing initiatives in parallel, with diverse and geographically dispersed teams

  • Experience of creating commercially driven campaigns and tracking and measuring success through CRM (Dynamics desirable but not essential)

  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills and demonstrated success at building relationships and credibility with senior leaders

  • Credibility to work with, and to influence, colleagues at all levels within the company

  • Experience of working across multiple geographies and/or globally.

  • Demonstrated ability to learn about complex business issues and priorities and translate them into marketing execution

  • Strong team player with good people skills and a proven track record of providing support to other team members and building collaborative relationships

  • Strong ability to navigate a large, complex organization and to ask questions as needed

  • Ability to use own initiative and work unsupervised, whilst recognising when to escalate issues or ask for help when required

  • A keen interest in new media and technologies. Experience with Marketo, ON24, Dynamics, Hootsuite is not essential but is desirable.
