The CRB Technology Business Engagement Leader for Great Britain is accountable for business engagement; providing technology advice/consulting, and relationship management. The Engagement Leader will act as a single point of contact for all CRB technology related topics for GB and will ensure effective collaboration with all the global CRB technology functions to implement solutions to meet the business needs. The Engagement Leader promotes the right balance of local and shared systems leverage and ensures systems provide the capabilities and performance required to improve the customer/ client experience, facilitating business process automation and meeting other business objectives. The Engagement Leader will demonstrate an ability to quickly understand the current technology capabilities and represent them effectively to the regional CRB business stakeholders.

The Role:

  • Provide leadership & direction to the team responsible for business engagement to understand and represent the GB regional needs (Willis Ltd.) to the CRB technology organization.

  • Ensure that the GB application and information needs are met by working closely with central engineering, analytics or information management teams.

  • Collaborate with business, operations and change management teams to implement strategic CRB capabilities in the respective regions.

  • Work closely with stakeholders to develop proposals as means of obtaining buy-in, approval and funding for technology solutions.

  • Ensure compliance with IT Audit practices and procedures in the region.

  • Responsible for implementing and execution of the regional governance forum in Great Britain

  • Understand, advocate and support the enterprise’s IT strategy, driven by business strategies

  • Conduct Risk: To put the interests of clients and the integrity of the market at the heart of the way you do business

The Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent is required. Master’s degree in related field is preferred.

  • Solid experience of business relationship, technology management or program management functions with established experience in leadership roles, preferably in financial services or the insurance industry.

  • Leadership skills especially in organizing, engaging, managing and influencing business partners in a non-hierarchical environment

  • Ability to translate business needs into high level technology options/solutions.

  • Experienced in managing the evaluation of both external and internal technology capabilities to meet business and operational needs.

  • Ability to engage and coordinate multiple pipeline initiatives simultaneously.

  • Excellent people and relationship management skills with good analytical and technical skills
