The Surety Manager drives growth through creating and developing leads from a prospect database as well as developing a new prospect pipeline from new industry initiatives in a fully compliant and ethical manner. They will utilize the expertise of our Sales and Placement teams to develop winning proposals for prospects.
Developing leads from an existing suspect database
Development of leads to successful conclusion
Management and maintenance of pipeline through existing systems
Self-generate prospect meetings and liaise with Client Management to create further sales appointments
Work with Account Executive and Placement teams to develop winning proposals for prospects
Grow and develop prospect pipeline so that it is robust enough to exceed sales targets
Meet as minimum, new sales targets through acquisition of in-scope business
Strictly adhere all processes with high level of integrity and compliance
Coaching –Responsible for developing skills of direct reports
Qualifications: Minimum 3-5 years Sales/Business Development or Marketing experience; Insurance industry exposure is highly preferable
Excellent communicator; Team player, Attention to detail and quality – ‘right first time’ mentality; IT & systems literate – Microsoft office and Managerial ability re: motivation, decision making & delegation.
Insurance industry exposure is highly preferable; Managing 1-2 people – Sales environment highly preferable; Demonstrable track record of success in a sales role.
