WTW Consolidations Accountant in Mount Laurel, New Jersey

* *This is a hybrid role that will require you to come into our spacious Mount Laurel, NJ office two times a week **
The Role
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist in the completion of month-, quarter-, and year-end consolidations activities, including supplemental analysis as required.
Prepare consolidation journal entries, including processing post-closing adjustments
Perform balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow account analysis.
Complete consolidated financial statement disclosure schedules (for 10Q and 10K)
Prepare ad hoc analyses/reports and assist with special projects to drive continuous improvement and efficiencies
Complete analysis of transactions to ensure accurate presentation of financial results
Liaise with multiple accounting and finance groups to obtain key information relevant to the consolidation processes and analysis.
Assist in maintaining the integrity of the consolidation hierarchy structure; ensuring data accuracy and completeness in applicable system.
The Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree required.
1-5 years of related experience.
Understanding of the relationship between income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement
Knowledge of accounting practices, with knowledge of practices frequently utilized in the preparation of consolidated financial statements a plus
Experience with and proficiency with enterprise resource planning (ERP), analytical and reporting, and consolidation systems (Oracle EBS, Oracle Hyperion Financial Management, Oracle FDM, etc.).
Knowledge of technical accounting principles to support consolidation processes, including intercompany, and minority/equity accounting practices.
Experience with acquisition, disposal and reorganization transactions a plus
Detail oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.
Prior experience in a multi-location accounting environment preferred, but not required.
Able to work independently with minimal guidance and collaboratively as part of a team, under tight deadlines
Oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with all levels of staff (peers and management).
