In this new opportunity you will be helping Insurance companies to understand and manage their risks; navigate the landscape, deliver performance, achieve goals and protect reputation.

You will be part of a 20-strong team who develops and maintains client relationships in all five Nordic countries, operating across most insurance classes. We run our operation as one team across 3 offices; London, Copenhagen and Oslo.

The position will be Oslo based, but a large part of the training and introduction to the role during the first 6 months will be at our head office in London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working as an integral part of the team to become actively engaged in managing existing clients and drive the production process for new business.

  • Providing technical and commercial risk and reinsurance analysis to clients

  • Maintaining strong Client and Reinsurer relationships

  • Negotiating contract renewals and amendments with reinsurers

  • Prepare and present various reports to business partners

  • Drafting of contracts

  • Engaging with our actuarial colleagues in order to become able to participate in discussions on various subjects both internally and with clients

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • High level of accuracy and attention to details

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills

  • Anawareness of the sales and negotiation process

  • Fluency in English, written and orally, as well as a Scandinavian language

  • The ability to prioritise, work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Proactive attitude and an eagerness to drive projects to a successful conclusion

  • Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to work independently
