Our activities include developing communication strategies and deliverables ranging from total rewards (e.g., pension, benefits, pay, culture, learning & development), to complex business process changes (such as mergers and acquisitions), to senior leadership communication, and more.
As a Communication Specialist you will work alongside some of the industry’s top consultants while you develop cutting edge technical knowledge and skills.
You will have immediate exposure to real client assignments which will draw upon your imagination and creativity as well as your ability to analyze information, draw conclusions and present results. These experiences will help build your technical knowledge, creative abilities, and overall industry expertise while you benefit from more structured learning interventions that are tailored to the business area you join.
Your main responsibilities will be as follows:
Help develop and deploy communication strategies
Write and edit employee communication materials in the areas of employee benefits, personal finance, and human resources programs
Provide project management support
Develop creative communication support materials, including web and video content, presentations, booklets, brochures, reports, etc.
Help develop new business proposals and intellectual capital to further position Willis Towers Watson as a global leader in employee communication consulting
Work closely with consultants across different lines of business to build relationships and work as a team on various projects
Work with in-house writers, graphic designers and translators, as well as with external suppliers to execute communication campaigns
Conduct, synthesize and analyze employee research (e.g., focus groups, employee surveys)
Meet billable hour targets

Bachelor or Master’s degree in a related field (e.g., English/Journalism, Communication, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, etc.) is preferred
At least 2 – 3 years’ experience in a field related to communication, human resources, financial services, consulting, and/or agency work
A natural communicator with outstanding written and verbal English communication skills
Ability to take complex topics (e.g., about retirement programs) and explain them in a user-friendly and audience-appropriate way
A self-starter who works well in a team environment
A problem solver, able to see the big picture and identify and solve challenging problems
Innovative and interested in exploring new approaches to improve results
Focused on achieving results that promote business success
Organized and focused, with strong project management skills and able to work and think in a methodical and orderly way
Committed to quality and professional excellence
Strong computer skills, particularly with MS Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and social media
An eye for design, with experience in graphic design/desktop publishing activities
Exposure to, and a general understanding of, human capital issues, including retirement programs, employee benefits, talent management, and employee rewards
