WTW Associate, Retirement, Shanghai in Shanghai, China
You would be expected to start building relationships with the key client contacts, leading simpler projects and assist in presenting our advice to our clients at meetings.
Provide support on actuarial/management consulting projects for leading companies’ IPO/restructuring in diversified industries
Provide support on client projects involving the design, funding, accounting, implementation, and management of a full array of retirement and other long-term programs
Perform actuarial valuations in accordance with relevant accounting or funding standards, including data analysis, assumption setting, modelling and producing the client report
Interacts with clients as day-to-day liaison; prepare and assist in client presentations
Assist with sales and marketing including researching and drafting proposals
Build relationships with internal and external sources to maximize the penetration of key target accounts
Maintains excellent relationship with clients with a view toward generating new business opportunities.
Be proactive in one’s personal development and growth, by fully utilizing Willis Towers Watson appraisal tools and methodology.
Contribute to a high-performance environment through close team collaboration with individual accountability
Helps improve work processes for higher quality and efficiency
Develop deep technical knowledge and skills
Adhere to all internal practice standards
The Requirements
2-3 years working experience in Big Four, Insurance Companies, or other professional service firms, with a track record of strong performance and results
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to details and have good number sense
Strong interpersonal skills, works well in a team environment with individual accountability
Proven ability to handle multiple tasks under tight timelines, able to deliver quality client work on time and within budgets
Ability to be creative, innovative, adaptable, strong drive to continuously improve and excel
Self-starter and able to work with ambiguity
Experienced user of MS-Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Word), etc.
Well-developed oral and written communication skills
An undergraduate degree is required, advanced degree preferred
Progress towards FSA/FIA/FCAA (or equivalent) is preferred
Strong bilingual capabilities in Chinese and English
