WTW Business Analyst (Mid Shift) in Taguig, Philippines

The Role

Excellence

  • Participates in the development of solutions to solve our clients' Human Resources needs in a team-based environment.

  • Research issues and cases to determine root cause and provide impact analysis for ongoing issues and changes and requests for new functionality with assistance from more senior Business Analysts on some issues.

  • Analyzes plan documentation and business processes.

  • Develops and can execute comprehensive test plans for project implementations.

  • Performs unit and comprehensive testing with system developers for overall quality assurance of functional and technical quality of deliverables.

  • Provides ongoing technical support.

  • Defines and updates system tables as needed.

  • Ensures the system performs according to client approved specifications.

  • Follows the System Development Lifecycle.

  • Tracks the project status and communicates status to project manager or lead consultant or to client as appropriate.

  • Maintains project issues log to track ongoing items for review and resolution by project team.

  • Assists with coordination and scheduling of project team resources.

  • Create tickets in issue tracking systems for each Health support code release item

  • Has a solid understanding how the application is expected to work for a particular client and partners with the internal team to determine the best course of action to resolve issues

  • Provide training on large-scale change orders to internal team and service center, as needed

  • Alerts lead consultants or project manager about out-of-scope work in a timely manner.

  • Works with team to identify project deliverables and meets established deadlines.

  • Assists in developing standardized work processes, tools, and methodologies that improve quality and profitability

  • Follows line of business processes and protocols for the deployment of base solutions

  • Participates in line of business sessions and teams as requested

People

  • Works closely with Development Team members in a partnership to deliver the best results to the client.

  • Participates in business analyst meetings and consistently promotes teamwork in all daily activities

  • Gather, analyze, document, and validate the needs of Project Stakeholders

Clients

  • Communicates effectively with internal clients and project teams.

  • Attends team or internal client meetings as appropriate to present project specifications or report project status.

  • Act as a liaison between Project Stakeholders and Development Team

Financial

  • Assists project manager or other lead consultant in determining and monitoring overall project direction, scope, work plans, and budgets.

  • Assists in determining requirements for estimating new project budgets.

The Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related area

  • 3-5 years minimum experience

  • Experience or training in: RDBMS, SQL, Web-based applications, and tools is preferred

  • Experience with test plan creation, testing procedures and test plan execution is preferred

  • Experience in the Human Resources or Benefits domain areas is preferred, but not required

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

  • Experience working with the US and/or UK is preferred

  • Ability to work on "virtual" teams with members from different geographic areas

  • Self-motivated and ability to remain focused on assigned projects

  • Committed to quality and continuous improvement

  • Preferably flexible with shift schedules

  • People Management and/or Project Management experience is a plus
