WTW Global Benefits Analyst (Placement Coordinator) - Night Shift in Taguig, Philippines

The Role

You will collaborate with U.S. Placement specialists and other roles within the Placement Community of Expertise. You may support various financial and associated funding strategies for group benefits programs, including medical, pharmacy, dental, vision, life, disability plans, voluntary benefits, health equity and

wellbeing, among others. To support the delivery of that strategy, you may:

· Recognize and support execution of client benefit strategy and benefit program design

· Undertake financial data processing and analysis to support program design, using agreed upon tools, standards, and techniques

· Utilize the H&B RFP (Request for Proposal) administration tool, Proposal Tech to facilitate various steps in the RFP process

· Monitor due dates and timelines associated with the RFP

· Review and monitor bid requests (RFP) to target carriers / vendors

· Manage follow-up questions / requests from the carriers/vendors

· Collect, summarize, and analyse proposal findings

· Prepare placement / renewal deliverables for clients within time critical schedules

In addition to this direct client work, you will:

· Attend training, meetings and/other educational events to increase understanding of trends, regulations,

and developments in the U.S. Health and Benefits landscape

· Develop an awareness of the insurance carrier and vendor marketplace

· Understand and effectively articulate carrier / vendor specific strengths and weaknesses

· Maintain and cultivate strong carrier relationships to enhance WTW’s position in the marketplace

· Receive training from experienced consultants and assist to review client needs

· Comply with internal excellence and compliance requirements

· Contribute to the development of new intellectual capita

The Requirements

Required Skills and knowledge:

· Bachelor’s degree (preferably in a program on mathematics or business)

· 2+ years’ experience working with health and benefits plans (their financials) preferably gained in a benefit consulting / brokerage firm or at a health insurance company

· Proficient in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Preferably with specific experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • US Healthcare

  • US Medical Benefits

  • US Voluntary Benefits

  • US Health and Management solutions (e.g., diabetes management, mental health management, etc.)

  • US Dental and Vision

  • US Pharmacy

  • US Life and Disability

· Project management experience

· Well organized and detail oriented

· Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and produce quality deliverables on time

· Proven ability to identify and resolve complex issues

· Strong client service orientation and ability to respond to all communications effectively and in a timely manner

· Continuous improvement mindset – increasing task efficiency and effectiveness with each product or service repetition

Technical Skills and Experience

· Strong analytical, creative, and integrative skills

· Experience with data entry, validation, and manipulation

· Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Word, Excel and PowerPoint

· Ability to review and check data against subject domain knowledge (e.g., health and group benefits) and understand the data’s applicability/accuracy for the designated purpose
