The Role

As an agile application development manager, you will be leading the transformation of our application development group to an effective agile model. You will work closely with leadership to design the optimal model and to implement it. You will be responsible for the effectiveness of the team and will ensure that internal as well as external deadlines and commitments are met. You will be working closely with our project managers and product managers as well as functional leads to ensure that people and process issues are addressed promptly. You will be responsible for conducting performance reviews and for holding teams accountable to their goals and commitments. Develop a comprehensive resource and utilization plan. Develop and manage a project portfolio plan, including risks and mitigation plans.


  • Hands on Technical Leadership of diverse portfolio of applications

  • Work closely with Product Owners, Project Managers, Developers and Testers to deliver high quality software consistent with business priorities.

  • Oversee day-to-day work of a dedicated team of developers including work assignment, issue resolution and code reviews in a Scrum Methodology

  • Responsible for all technical and architectural decisions on the project

  • Develop a deep understanding of the system to provide guiding vision for the product

The Requirements

  • Bachelors of Science Degree in Computer Science or related field

  • At least 10 years of experience in .NET/C#/Visual Studio

  • At least 10 years of experience in Web Development

  • Proven Technical Leadership experience

  • Excellent knowledge of web application design and architecture

  • Experience with JavaScript, JavaScript Frameworks and SQL Server

  • Proficiency in Agile/Scrum Methodology using TFS

  • Experience in leading medium size development groups, including development team, Quality assurance team and others.

  • Strong expertise in agile scrum development and agile transformation

  • Strong leadership in managing multiple teams, including full-time and contracting resources with on- and off-shore presence.

  • Proven track records in team transformation and organizational restructuring

  • Strong command in web application development, in .Net and in Azure cloud transition

  • Expertise in DevOps and release automation

  • Strong critical thinking skills driven by innovation

  • Exceptional communication skills

  • Proven track records in leading by example with a strong sense of accountability

  • Hands-on experience
